The Trundle Hotel

The National Estate Listed Trundle Hotel boasts to having the longest verandah in NSW (87.6m) on the widest main street in NSW.

Whilst there has been a hotel on the site since 1888, the current building was constructed in 1912. Its construction is unique in that it is constructed from Pise Mud or compacted earth that is then rendered with cement. The ceilings were then made from pressed metal. Many other houses in Trundle have been constructed the same way.

It is the district’s iconic county hotel, with its distinctive long verandah and most importantly good old country hospitality. Drop in for a cold beer, an affordable meal or stay overnight in one of 16 bedrooms.
